TANZANIA LAND TENURE ASSISTANCE (LTA) NGO

Tanzania Land Tenure Assistance (LTA-NGO) has been formed as a non-governmental, and non-profit organization established under the exclusive jurisdiction of the laws of Tanzania. LTA-NGO aims to facilitate the effective management of land resources in Tanzania, through the implementation of sustainable, participatory, and cost effective land use planning and land registration processes that respect the rights of women, youth, pastoralists and other marginalized groups.

The LTA Team has also established itself as a training hub with regard to the use of the Mobile Application for Secure Tenure (MAST) for systematic land adjudication and registration and other purposes relating to the agriculture, water and environmental sectors.

The senior management team and experts of the LTA-NGO have been reliable partners of the Ministry of Lands and several District Councils in relation to capacity building and formalization of customary village land.
