The Land Tenure Assistance (LTA-NGO) is an offshoot of the Feed the Future USAID- Tanzania Land Tenure Activity implemented from 2015 to 2021. The LTA-NGO has been duly registered at the Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly, and Children, in accordance with the pertinent legal and regulatory frameworks of Tanzania. The principal objective for the establishment of the LTA-NGO is to ensure the continuity and sustainability of the achievements made under the USAID funded Feed the Future Tanzania Land Tenure Assistance activity (LTA) in terms of reducing land tenure insecurity for customary village land holders and laying the groundwork for sustainable agricultural investment for both small holders and commercial investors.
