On November 23, Land Tenure Assistance NGO was officially launched. The event participated by Management team from the Ministry of Lands, Regional Land Office representative and District Councils of Iringa, Mbeya and Njombe regions.

CCROs issuance ceremony in Nyabula village of Iringa district council. The event was participated by the USAID/Tanzania Mission Director as guest of honor. A total of 1,250 CCROs printed and registered for Nyabula residents, 60% of the formally registered land belongs to women and 15% to the youth. The systematic land adjudication and registration processes in Nyabula village were implemented under the beneficiaries contribution model. The villagers contributed TZS.30,000 (Approx. $13) to cover their direct costs of delivering CCRO’s.
